The first official night for the adult club is Monday 30th January.
The first official session for Midweek is Thursday 2nd February.
Friday night junior club still to be advised.
The Club is desperately short of volunteers to help run club sessions. There is no need to come on the Board to help out!

way please approach any Board member or session organizer.

| New Session Fees for 2012 |
Updated 26/1/12 |
|
Dear Members,
I am writing on behalf of the Board to inform you that, regretfully, club session fees will increase with effect from 1st January 2012.
The last increase in session fees was on 1st January 2009. In 2010 there was a GST increase that we absorbed. Now, on top of this,
we have recently been informed that our insurance premium is increasing by $3,000, as a consequence of the Christchurch earthquakes, and this we cannot absorb.
The new session fees are:
| All Financial Members | $4.50 |
| Juniors | $4.50 |
| Non Members | $8.00 |
| First Time Attendees | $4.50 |
| Multi Session Tickets | $45 for 12 Sessions (20% saving) |
We are pleased to announced that there will be no increase in either senior or concession (senior citizens, beneficiaries, tertiary student)
annual membership subscriptions. These have not been increased for several years.
Chris Williams, Chairperson, Empire Board

| Volunteers |
Updated 30/11/11 |
|
We are looking for more people to help us run the Monday night (Senior)
and the Friday night (Junior) clubs. We really appreciate the work done by the current volunteers and hope that they will still be
available next year but some need a well earned break and we need more helpers.
The Monday and Friday roles are similar. They involve:
- Welcoming members when they arrive
- Take night fees and subscriptions and entering the information on our computer
- Using the computer to generate the matches for members during the evening
To do these roles you do need to be comfortable using a computer
If we can get enough people we can organize a roster to spread the work load throughout the year.
If you are interested please contact Chris Williams, Chairperson, on 527 8629 or williamsck@xtra.co.nz
